Bio: John
Hill
John the Broker in Charge and owner,
began his Real Estate career in 1977 working in New Jersey where he was a top
producer in both sales and listings for a period of five years.
After
vacationing on Hilton Head in the early 80's John decided to relocated to the
island in 1982 and continue his Real Estate career. First working for a
Brokerage firm where he was the top producing agent in his first two years and
then he became the sales manager for the following two years.
In 1986
John decided to accept an offer to work for a marketing company selling
exclusively, developer new product in the oceanfront Resort of Palmetto Dunes
on Hilton Head Island. This proved very valuable because to that point John had
only been involved in general brokerage sales. While working in new product
developer sales John had the opportunity to market oceanfront homes, lots and
condo's, both residential and investment properties. He also sold golf course
lots and homes in this private gated community.
In 1992 Hilton Head
Island was still a world class vacation destination resort, the secondary home
and investor market was still booming, but more and more people were relocating
to the area as permanent residents. At this point John decided that diversity
and having accessibility to all the available property both resale and new
developer product was the best way to service and fulfill the needs for both
listing and buyer clients.
In late 1992 American Real Estate Group
opened its doors for business as members of the Hilton Head Island Multiple
Listing Service. John is a Life Member of the Million Dollar Distinguished
Sales Award, this award is presented each year for outstanding sales
achievement. |
